My qualifications

I have over 10 years’ experience as a registered hypnotherapist and  have been successfully working with weight loss clients since 1987.

My qualifications include:

  • NHS trained Mindfulness (MBCT) coach
  • MSc in Workplace Health and Wellbeing at the University of Nottingham
  • Registered with the Complementary and National Healthcare Council (recognised by the NHS)
  • Corporate programme development and delivery
  • Excellent reviews and feedback
  • Rated one of the top 3 hypnotherapists in Nottingham

I have appeared on Notts TV and been interviewed on several podcasts. I also host a regular online Mindfulness, Resilience and Chat group.

My experience

I am Samantha, the founder of Live Well Practice and Work Well Practice.

My first career was an IT lecturer – my motivation was the joy I felt when students progressed, learned and were able to connect with their family and the wider world.

I discovered hypnotherapy whilst looking for ways to help a family member. It was a revelation! Not long after I trained, registered and gained accreditation from the National Council of Hypnotherapy.

Since then I have been involved in hypnotherapy, mindfulness and healing in a variety of contexts. I work with private individuals here at Live Well Practice. I also work with companies and organisations at my sister company Work Well Practice.

My specialities

I specialist in using a combination of hypnosis and mindfulness to help with issues such as:

  • Weight loss
  • Quitting smoking
  • Improving sleep
  • Stress and anxiety
  • Exam anxiety and performance
  • Pain relief and Rapid Pain Elimination
  • Phobias (e.g. fear of needles)

I have specialised in online hypnotherapy for a number of years.

My aims and goals

As a client, your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being is my priority.

I seek to help you free yourself from unhelpful patterns and habits that have been holding you back. To this end I offer online sessions and in-person sessions at my lovely practice located just 3 miles from Nottingham City Centre.

I have found a combination of hypnotherapy and mindfulness to be the most gentle, efficient and safe way to effect lasting change. And it needn’t break the bank.  In my experience, lasting change can be achieved in just a few sessions (anywhere from a single session to a short programme of 6 sessions, depending on your requirements).

    My name is Ken, I’m 67 years old and I’m a non smoker.
